Northwest Christian seniors Jonah Archer and Luke Poarch contributed to a state title in the Division 4 boys 4x800-meter relay, along with placing third and fourth in the 3,200-meter final at the Arizona Interscholastic Association State Championships at Mesa Community College. Archer clocked 9:41.48 and Poarch ran 9:42.07 for Northwest Christian, which prevailed in the 4x800 relay in 8:13.95, with Maverick Kline and Glenn Thomas also contributing for a quartet that finished second last season in 8:26.94.
