Glenn Thomas, a junior at Northwest Christian High, won the Division 4 boys championship race at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state final at the Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Thomas covered the 5-kilometer layout in 16:17.7 to lead Northwest Christian to a fifth-place performance with 173 points.
