Rachel Johnson, a sophomore at Northwest Christian High, earned eighth place in the Division 4 girls final at the Arizona state championship at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Johnson clocked 21:25.6 to lead five scorers in the top 30 to help Northwest Christian capture its first team title with a 69-86 victory over Glendale Prep Academy.
